TC FKM Oil Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. TC type seals (Also commonly called R23 seals) are one of the most commonly used types, they have a rubber-covered outside diameter and feature a sealing FKM rubber lip on the inside diameter as well as an external dust lip. The TC types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.)
