TO FKM Oil Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. They are engineered to facilitate the smooth operation of your equipment, serving as a barrier to prevent the leakage of oils and greases while also keeping foreign substances from entering. TO seals are produced using new injection molding machines which fully cover the exterior of the seal with rubber to eliminate the risk of rusting. They have a rubber-covered outside diameter and features a sealing FKM rubber lip on the inside diameter as well as an external dust lip. The TO types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.)
