The ATLC 14-2/C Torque Limiter Chain Coupling incorporates a heavy-duty dual-spring architecture engineered to handle higher preset friction ratings while providing a durable shaft-to-shaft drive connection with robust overload protection. This low-cost assembly consists of a specialized transmission sprocket, a precision torque limiter hub, and a matching platewheel seamlessly connected by a heavy-duty length of duplex roller chain. It absorbs severe system overloads by allowing the internal friction elements to safely slip when pre-configured threshold limits are exceeded.
