KSM Metal Shielded Deep Groove Ball Bearings: One of the most widely used bearing types, these bearings are manufactured with metal shields fitted into the outer raceway. The shields sit closely against the inner race, providing protection against light mechanical damage and offering limited protection from the ingress of moisture, dust, and other contaminants. They also help retain the pre-filled grease, allowing for maintenance-free operation and long service life.

The shields can be removed for applications that only require one shield or for setups where external lubrication is available. KSM bearings provide a dependable and cost-effective solution for a variety of general engineering and industrial applications.

Benefits: Provides light mechanical protection, limits moisture and dirt ingress, lubricated for life, long service life, and cost-effective performance.
