SKF Metal Shielded Deep Groove Ball Bearings: One of the most widely used bearing types, these bearings are designed with metal shields fitted into the outer raceway, closely aligned with the inner race to offer reliable protection against light mechanical damage. The shields also help limit the ingress of moisture, dust, and other contaminants while retaining the factory-applied grease for long-lasting, maintenance-free performance.

These bearings are suitable for a wide range of applications including electric motors, pumps, conveyors, and general machinery. The shields can be easily removed for applications that only require one side shield or for systems with external lubrication.

Benefits: Provides light mechanical protection, reduces moisture and dirt ingress, lubricated for life, supports smooth and quiet operation, and offers a cost-effective long-term solution.
