MJT3.1/2 Imperial Angular Contact Ball Bearing has internal raceways that are effectively opposite each other, they are designed to accommodate both radial and axial loads and when used in pairs have an immense load bearing capacity. The load is applied in the inner raceways largest diameter (one side will be smaller than the other in diameter), in the smaller bearings this is difficult to check, in these cases the thrust is applied from the side where the bearing number markings are not present.
