British Standard Chain Components

British Standard Chain Components are manufactured to the International Standards Organisation metric dimensions (IS 606, BS228, DIN 8187) for dimensions, interoperability, and sprocket fit.

BS Chains are also known as metric chains. They are similar to ANSI chains in that the pitch is based on fractions of an inch, but they are different in some key dimensions. Applications include; Automotive Industry, Conveyors, Heavy Duty Conveyors, Packaging, Poultry Processing, Steel Mills etc.
