Housed / Self-Lube Bearings
These Housed / Self-Lube Bearings are cast iron & pressed steel mounted bearing units, used extensively in fabricated equipment as they are easy to fit, maintain & replace. Self-lube bearing units will cope with initial misalignment, are sealed & pre-greased, have integral shaft locking & simply bolt into place. Suitable for operating temperatures -20ºC to +90ºC.Self-Lube units provide simple and effective bearing arrangements capable of accommodating moderate initial misalignment from mounting errors. They are easily mounted onto commercial shafting and are particularly useful where fabricated machine frames are employed.
The Housed / Self-Lube Bearings are available in a variety of pillow block and flange mounted configurations with one piece cast iron or two-piece pressed steel housings. Self-Lube inserts are wide inner ring ball bearings that are effectively and efficiently sealed. Simple fitting onto standard shafting is provided for by means of eccentric locking collar, set screws or adapter sleeve.
The reliability, simplicity and ease of assembly of items in the Self-Lube range has resulted in their popularity for agricultural, extraction and construction machinery as well as process and automation equipment.
